Welcome to the new STOMP

We look a little different around here. Here’s what’s changed, what hasn’t, and why I’m starting STOMP Life.

Welcome to the new STOMP

You might notice we look a little different around here.

Our new website, new identity and new look mark an exciting next chapter for STOMP — but underneath it all, the heart of what we do hasn’t changed. We still believe some of the best things you can do for your body and mind happen outside.

We still believe fitness should build you up, not break you down. And we still believe getting fitter is infinitely better when you do it alongside people who know your name.

What has changed is that we’re much clearer about what STOMP stands for.

Fitness for the life you’re living now

The way we exercise should work with our lives, not take them over. We need strength. We need cardiovascular fitness. We need to protect our bones, muscles, heart, mobility and balance.

But we also need recovery. Fresh air. Daylight. Friendship. Laughter. Time away from screens. And movement that leaves us feeling energised enough to get on with the rest of our lives.

That’s where STOMP comes in.

The STOMP Method combines purposeful walking with exercise stations in nature, giving you strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility and movement in one outdoor session.

There’s no shouting. No pressure to keep up. No expectation that you need to arrive already fit.

Just structured, supportive fitness designed to help you make progress.

And this is STOMP Life

Alongside our new website, I’m launching this blog: STOMP Life.

I’m a personal trainer, former nurse, qualified Menopause Wellness Coach and, importantly, a woman navigating this stage of life too.

A lot of what I’ll write about here will be particularly relevant to women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond.

There is an enormous amount of health and fitness advice aimed at us — and sometimes it can feel as though we’re being told to optimise absolutely everything.

I want STOMP Life to be different.

I’ll be sharing practical, evidence-informed advice about the things that can genuinely help us stay strong and well as we age: strength training, walking, cardiovascular health, menopause, recovery, sleep, nutrition, mobility, bone health, stress and the benefits of spending time outdoors.

We’ll talk about what matters — and hopefully cut through some of the noise around what doesn’t.

I’ll also be sharing stories from STOMPers themselves: the everyday wins, breakthroughs and bits of progress that don’t always look dramatic, but can make a huge difference to how we feel and live.

Because STOMP has never really been about chasing a certain body.

It’s about creating a body that lets you live your life.

Strong enough to climb the hill.
Fit enough to keep exploring.
Mobile enough to keep moving.
And connected enough to know you don’t have to do any of it alone.

Welcome to the next chapter of STOMP.

No shouting. No pressure. Just progress.
